I am about to be a wife

I am sitting in my room with soooo many things to do, yet not being able to do them. For the past couple of months, I have attended wedding showers in my honor, been the recipient of great marriage advice, and been told all kinds of things about what marriage will be like.... and it is only in nights like tonight when it really and truly clicks... I am getting married in 10 days!!!

Life is hectic, trying to get through my masters and planning for the special day... we finally have a place to live, lots of payments to do and little time... and we are getting married!! and it's so fun to think of being next to Lance for the rest of my life.

I met him through Ivan, who was his roomate and also my friend. I'd never thought we'd end up together... we were sooo different! However, little by little, our God worked in my heart and helped me realize Lance was a gift sent from Him... I will never forget March 18th, 2005. We said "I love you" and drank our coffee... little did we know that was gonna become a habit after the years. And 3 years and some months later, I am sitting in my room trying to soak it all in... I am marrying the man of my dreams! He means sooo much to me and I love him with all my heart. Our wedding day will be the completion and new beginning of the dreams to come.

God has blessed us with each other and I pray that we might be a blessing to you all.

I want to thank all of you who have been with us through time. You have witnessed the growth and expansion of our love. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement! Thank YOU dear Lord... you are the one and only knower of the heart... you knew Lance was and is, and will always be the one my heart desires.
